Assessment and Evaluation

When you begin your project. your teacher will provide you with information about how it will be assessed. You may be given:

  • A list of requirements or things to complete.
  • An assessment rubric.
  • Some examples of projects that have been done previously.

You may be assessed on the process (what you do while you are working on the project) and/or the product (the final result).

Often you can decide what mark you will get before you start by reviewing the requirements provided by the teacher. If you are not sure, ask your teacher, "What must I do to get an 'A' on this project?"

Remember, YOU are the one who must do the work. "If it is to be, it is up to me." But it is okay to ask questions and seek advice of others.

If you copy someone else's work or ideas, you are plagiarizing and that will result in a mark of zero.
